Jon Wolfert is the president of Jam Creative Productions of Dallas and first became interested in the world of radio jingles in the 60s when he was growing up in the New York City area. Terry Lynch Barrister at Law

Being a keen radio listener, he discovered that the "jingles" he had been hearing and collecting from across the country were made by a small number of very specialised Companies, most of which were headquartered in Dallas. It seemed to him that working for a jingle company would be an excellent way to combine his interest and experience in music, audio production, and radio. He moved to Dallas in 1971 to work for Pams one of the top jingle production houses of the day. About 3 years later he and his wife decided to create their own company. JAM officially began in November of 1974. The name came from the initials for "Jon And Mary Lyn"....JAM

The company was very small and operated out of a spare bedroom with studio time booked as and when orders were received. Even so, word of the product quality and creativity spread quickly. By early 1976 the company was singing for America's WABC and England's B.B.C. Radio 1 & 2. Just about all Radio 1 and 2's jingles up to the 1990's were made and sung by Pams or Jam.

During the 80s, JAM moved on to commercials, production libraries, music for television, and film scores as well as jingles but it has never forgotten its roots.

Today JAM remains a privately owned company with less than 20 loyal staff. Their products can be heard all around the world. They engage the talents of dozens of freelance singers, writers, and musicians and deliver a constant stream of unbelievable jingles of the highest quality.
